Hippocrates once said that “all disease begins in the gut” and this is generally where we will start. Good digestion is the foundation for good health. How well you digest your food can influence how well the rest of your body functions. If you have digestive issues, these can contribute to many other symptoms. Address the gut, and other issues like low mood, migraine headaches, chronic fatigue and anxiety will also sometimes spontaneously resolve.
Does this sound like you?
- Food makes your symptoms worse
- You can’t figure out what you are doing wrong
- You want help to get your life back
If so, I’m ready to help you. Make an appointment for a herbal medicine consultation with me, by following this link:
During this appointment I will conduct a comprehensive health assessment. I will address your main health concerns and try to uncover potential root causes of your ill health. Occasionally I may suggest that you have some lab tests done to aid in discovering underlying issues. If you have already had some testing done it is a good idea to bring the results to your appointment.
During the consultation I will explain how underlying factors have contributed to your current ill health and how appropriate herbal medicines, supplements, dietary changes or lifestyle recommendations may be of benefit. I will provide you with a detailed individualised plan of the necessary steps to resolve or reduce your current health complaints. As a medical herbalist I am trained to provide personalised herbal prescriptions that are tailored for your individual needs. I am committed to bringing you back to the best health you can have.
The recommendations that I make will be based on scientific evidence and will take into account any prescribed medications you may currently be taking, in order to avoid interactions.
You may need one or more follow up appointments so that I can assess treatment progress and make further recommendations. Follow up appointments may be conducted in person, or by telephone.
